Alliance Learning highlights importance of Apprenticeship Week

Chloe Ramsden (left) and Saima Atcha, two of Alliance Learning's greatest success stories. Both Bolton based girls, were former apprentices' who went on to gain permanent full time employment at Alliance Learning.
(31.01.11) APPRENTICESHIP Week, which kicks off on the 7th February, aims to highlight the importance and value an apprentice can add to UK businesses. With competition for employment at an all time high, there's never been a more apt time to take a closer look at what apprenticeships can offer....
A dedicated support for local learners, Bolton based training provider Alliance Learning are committed to promoting the service they can offer both employers and young people looking to invest in an apprenticeship scheme.
In line with Apprenticeship Week, Alliance are holding two open days on Monday the 7th and Thursday the 10th of February to give both employers and potential learners more of an insight into the benefits of an apprenticeship.
With two time slots between 9.30 - 11.30 and 1.30 - 3.30 on both days, visitors will be able to come in on a drop in bases and look around the centre and also get the opportunity to speak to the recruitment team. Tours will be taking place throughout the day and there will also be a designated 'Q+A' area where learners can apply for apprenticeships and employers can speak to staff about how to integrate an apprentice into their business.
Alliance Learning is able to cater for a variety of prospective careers and offers courses in the following areas;
- Business Administration
- ITQ
- Customer Service
- Contact Centre
- Childcare
- Health & Social Care
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Fabrication & Welding
Alliance Learning's Operations Executive, Paul Cocker said:
"As one of the leading training providers in the North West, Alliance Learning are at the forefront of skill based learning for local employers and potential learners. With this is in mind, we are urging people to come along to one of our open days to take a closer look at our facilities and have a chat about how an apprenticeship course could help them.
"Apprenticeship schemes are all about giving young people a chance to gain skills in a trade they are passionate about and at the same time give employers an opportunity to support them without applying a financial strain on their own company."
