EMPLOYEE INVESTMENT PAYS OFF

Graduates throw thier hats

More than 15 teachers from Training 2000 have graduated from the University of Bolton after completing a two-year Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS).

Training 2000 has over 43 years' experience in delivering high quality programmes and the training forms part of the firm's commitment to the professional development of its staff, with its aim being a fully qualified workforce.

Now qualified, the teachers have all the skills they need to develop and deliver lessons to a diverse range of levels, subjects and learner types.

Sue Broster, staff development officer at Training 2000, commented: "We have been committed to the development of our staff for many years and a large number of different qualifications are made available every year. We want our students to have the best learning experience and we take great lengths to ensure that we can deliver this by  cultivating high-quality teachers.

"By investing in staff development we can ensure that our employees are equipped with the diverse knowledge, skills and qualifictions they need to succed in their role which, in-turn, means that we can maintain a competitive workforce to improve our offering to learners."

Graduate, Adele Dootson added: "I really enjoyed the DTLLS course as it helped me to develop and refine my planning, organisation and delivery skills. The whole teaching process is now a lot smoother as I am able to design my own curricula around the learners and this tailored approach has led to a much more rewarding learning experience for them and an enjoyable one for me."
