North West businesses urged to act now
Staff at Alliance Learning are urging businesses to get in touch and find out how hiring an apprentice can benefit their business.
As GCSE and A-Level results were announced last month, Alliance Learning have seen a large increase in the number of highly qualified and motivated young people who are applying for apprenticeship vacancies.
Alliance Learning has over 200 pre-assessed candidates on their waiting list, providing a fantastic opportunity for forward thinking businesses to recruit the very best young talent in the North West.
Paul Cocker, Operations Executive, explains:
"We know that young people are already turned on to the fantastic opportunities that apprenticeships offer. Our applicants are all highly qualified, enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn new skills in the workplace - the perfect employee in many cases!
"We want to encourage business leaders in the North West to find out more about our apprenticeship programme and the many benefits employing an apprentice can bring to their business."
Alliance Learning offer a free recruitment service to businesses interested in hiring an apprentice. A dedicated account manager will provide guidance through every stage of the apprenticeship programme and provide help with funding and training.
Paul continues:
"Taking on an apprentice can help reduce recruitment and training costs for many businesses and enable them to develop a workforce that has the specialist skills required for future development. Businesses will also be rewarded with an employee who is eager, motivated and hardworking - someone who has chosen this route into employment and wants to succeed.
"At Alliance Learning we strongly believe that our apprenticeship programme makes great business sense and we'd love to have the opportunity to prove it."
Apprenticeships are offered in Business Administration, ITQ, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Team Leading & Management, Children and Young People's Workforce, Health and Social Care, Fabrication and Welding, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
