Survey for a national association of Apprenticeships
Since the idea was first mooted by GTA England, we have been asked by Robert Halpern MP to work with him and other leading stakeholders in vocational education who are also very keen on setting up such an Association, even going so far as to seek a Royal warrant for it in the longer term! We are very pleased and honoured to have been included in this important work, and clearly with such support in high places the chances of making it happen - given there is sufficient support among apprentices themselves- is greatly enhanced.
We have been asked to submit the results of the survey to the government committee, and it will be used to inform the business plan and proposal for the new organisation which will come out of Robert Halpern's office early in the New Year.
As you can see, this is an important and high profile piece of work and GTA England and its members can only benefit from being a part of it. It is therefore even more important that you help us to get as many of your apprentices as possible to complete the questionnaire. It takes only about 10 minutes to complete, and we ask for no personal identification, training provider or employer details. All responses are anonymous, but all responses WILL count.
The link to complete the survey is http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ApprenticeAssociationSurvey
The survey opens on Monday 6th December, and will close on Friday 17th December. While acknowledging that it may be difficult to get ALL your apprentices in to complete the survey, we would appreciate you trying to get as many as possible.
We will ensure that those providers who have participated in the gathering of this data are included in the list of acknowledgements which will also be submitted to the government committee along with the survey results.
